Jeffrey Scott Moody

Jeffrey Scott Moody of Nevada, TX passed away November 18, 2022. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 13, 1977. Known best as Moody, Jeff, or Dad, he was a beloved father, brother, son, uncle and friend. Jeff enjoyed the outdoors and working with his hands on all types of various trades. Jeff had a hobby for automotive mechanics, which later turned into a career. In 2006, he began his career as a cellphone tower technician. Through this career he was able to travel to different states, meeting all kinds of new people, making many friends along the way. He is survived by his children Tiffany Moody, Tyler Moody, Logan Moody, and Aidan Moody; his mother Rebecca Moody, Brother Chris Moody and sister-in-law Crystal Moody, sister Alison Moody, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Services for Jeff will be at the Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home located at 2343 Lake Rd. Lavon, Texas. Viewing will be held on Friday November 25, 2022 from 5-7pm and Funeral Service will be held November 26, 2022 at 2pm. Burial will follow at the Lakeview Cemetery.
