Jeanette Alene Nicholson, 65 years young, passed from this life Thursday, June 9, 2011. Jeanette was born in Artesia, New Mexico on September, 23, 1945.
Jeanette is survived by 2 sons - Sean Woodall and Delton Nicholson and 2 daughters Misty Hazen and Kristie Bowden. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren - Britney Woodall, DeDe Griffin, Mallory Woodall, Taylor Hazen, Spenser Sanders, Zack and Ashley Nicholson, Tabatha Bowden and Connor Glass. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren - Gentry, Wesley, Jackson, Jonathon and Layton. Jeanette is also survivd by her mother - Helen Louise Copher Vallie and 5 brothers - Preston, Don, Billy, Frank and Robert and many nieces and nephews. Jeanette was preceded in death by her son, Don David Woodall and her father, Don Franklin Vallie.
Jeanette went to school in Monahans, TX, graduating from Monahans High School in 1964. She worked most of her adult life for All Pro Industrial Equipment. She was a member of the Newman Park Christian Center. She found great joy in being with friends and family, reading and watching movies.
Jeanette was a beautiful, funny, smart woman who loved life. She loved to spend time with family and friends. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother in law and aunt. In addition to her own children, many others considered her "mom". She had more friends than you could count and was loved by all who met her. She will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 17, 2011 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 2925 Fifth Street in Sachse, Texas, 972-414-5050.
Services will be held Saturday June 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in Sachse, TX. with C. H. Pritchett officiating.
