Jane Theresa Kirby

Jane Theresa Kirby of San Pedro California, passed away peacefully from her battle with cancer on November 7, 2019, surrounded by her family in Murphy, TX. Jane fought courageously and was a warrior to the end.

Jane was born March 3, 1952 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Albert and Jane Kirkpatrick. The younger of two siblings, she grew up in Oak Ridge, New Jersey, graduating from Franklin High School.

She is survived by her daughter Kimberly; son in law Dave; Grandson - Sean. Additional survivors; nephew Jason and his wife Karen, and their 2 children Stella and Reece.

Jane worked and lived in several states from Bridgestone in Tennessee, Sprint in Las Vegas, and ultimately found her home working for Aerospace in California.

Jane described herself as an old hippie. She was free spirited, extremely generous, often silly and always feisty. She loved the ocean, avocados, and growing plants. Jane continuously put her family first and left us with many loving memories.

Services will be held on Thursday, November 14th from 6 - 8pm at Charles W. Smith Funeral Home, 2925 Fifth St., Sachse, TX 75048.
*** For her California family and friends a memorial service will be held at a later date at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.
