Jan graduated in 1985 from North Mesquite High School. She was a 1990 graduate of Dallas Baptist University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Charley Farmer; maternal grandparents, Joe and Judy Bradley; and her paternal grandparents, O.J. and Marie Farmer.
Jan is survived by her husband, Marcus Ragsdale; daughter, Haley Ragsdale; son, Zachary Ragsdale; parents, Don and Judy Farmer; sister, Amy Pochay; brother, David Farmer; father in-law and mother in-law, Bill and Melissa Ragsdale; two brother in-laws, Greg Ragsdale and his wife, Shonda and Jon Ragsdale and his wife, Nikki; and numerous other family members.
