Mrs. Jamila Ruprai was born on May 14th 1935 to Mr. & Mrs. Rehmat and Shanti Masih in Bramke, Punjab India. She was the 2nd eldest of nine siblings.Mrs. Jamila Ruprai graduated from United Christian School in Suranasi, Punjab in 1951. In 1956, Mrs. Ruprai graduated from Frances Newton Hospital in Ferozpur, India with an Associate Degree in nursing. Mrs. Jamila Ruprai worked at Lady Harding hospital in New Dehli for two years and then traveled to New Zealand, Australia, and England to explore and enhance her nursing profession. She migrated to the United States of America in 1970 and established herself in Fort Worth, Texas.Mrs. Ruprai retired as a Registered Nurse from Osteopathic Hospital in Fort Worth after many years of dedicated service to the nursing profession. She was married to Mr. Rajinder Ruprai in 1972 for 8 years. Mrs. Jamila Ruprai loved her family. She played a motherly role and helped raise 4 of her brothers and 4 sisters. She also enabled 2 brothers and 2 sisters to migrate to the United States. Mrs. Ruprai helped and supported her family emotionally, spiritually, and financially in the U.S, Canada, and in India. Mrs. Jamila Ruprai was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and was a practical Christian. She was a generous giver and strived to improve the lives of many Christians here and in India. She was a freelance member of First International Family Church, and Baptist Church in Fort Worth.Mrs. Jamila Ruprai lived her entire life for the glory of God. She always positively influenced and impacted the life of her family and community. She will be missed immensely by everyone that ever had the privilege of knowing her.She is survived by two brothers, four sisters, and many grandchildren.
