Jim is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Terry Potter; son, Michael Potter and his wife, Karen; daughter, Teresa Dudley and her husband, Kevin; five grandchildren, Katherine Potter, Rachel Potter, Macy Dudley, Boyd Potter, and Hattie Dudley; brother, Ken Potter and his wife, Kathy; two sisters, Cindy Critzer and Pam Saucedo and her husband, Joe; and numerous other family members.
