James A. Pearson, age 81, of Garland, Texas passed away October 22, 2017 at the Golden Acres Nursing Home in Dallas. He was an electrical engineer. James was a licensed amateur(ham) radiooperator. He alsoenjoyed astronomy and looking at the stars.James was born in Neligh, NE. He is survived by: his sister, R. Jane Rogers of Lincoln, NE; niece, Jamie Hosler (Bob) ofLincoln, NE; nephew, James Rogers (Meg) ofDoha, Qatar; andgreat nieces and nephews DJ, Katie, Megan and Jack.Visitation will be Thursday October 26, 2017 from 6-8:00 pm at Eastgate Funeral Home 1910 Eastgate Drive, Garland, Texas 75041.
