Mr. James "Buddy" Parker, age 68 of Seagoville, Texas passed away Friday August 19, 2011. Buddy was born at home in Farmersville, Texas on August 25, 1942. He attended W.W. Samuel High School. He proudly served in the US Navy as hospital corpsman, was a member of the James Burgess Masonic Lodge, and a longtime member of Robinwood Baptist Church of Seagoville, Tx. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; children, Sheri Charo and husband, Steve, Kim Daugherty, Kimberly Cash and Husband Earl, Jason Eaves and wife, Heather; grandchildren, Brittany Rikard, Lacie and Shaun Smith, Michael Charo, Keith and Tyler Daugherty, Will, Scott and Alan Montgomery, Kyle, Kailey and Brett Eaves; great grandson, Blaze Rikard; brother, Gene Parker and wife, Judy; Martha and Stooks Stooksberry, several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral Services will be held 10:00AM Wednesday August, 24, 2011 at Eastgate Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow in Grove Hill Memorial Park. Bro. Jim Everidge officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday August 23, 2011 at Eastgate Funeral Home. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Veronica Hamilton, Eli Home Health Care and Peggy Williams for all the loving care they gave him. Services entrusted to Eastgate Funeral Home.
