A celebration of life for James Lloyd Grider, 60, of Frognot will be held Saturday May 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in McKinney. Mr. Grider passed away Wednesday May 8, 2013 at his residence.
Born October 7, 1952 in Irving, TX. He worked for many years as a skilled laborer in the field of aviation. Mr. Grider was an avid fisherman, beer enthusiast, expert landscaper, and family man.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Nelda; son Daniel and his wife Naomi with granddaughter Vivienne of Frisco, TX; son Michael of Allen, TX; son Nolan and his wife Crystal and granddaughters Kayla, Chelsea, Caydence, and Journie of Allen, TX; sisters Jean Manskey and Rita Crawford both of Irving, TX and Barbara Karen of Utah; brother Gary Grider of Corinth,TX; and his mother Marjorie Grider of Irving, TX.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold Grider.
