James was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin L. Grant.
He survived by his wife, Amanda Grant; two daughters, Taylor Grant and Abigail Grant; son, James Alexander Grant; mother, Ann Grant; two sisters, Laurie Grant Lang and her husband, Joe and Marcy Grant Wright and her husband, Jim; mother in-law and step-father in-law, Tresea and Bob Stringer; father in-law and step-mother in-law, Robert and Deborah Cunningham; and numerous other family members.
