James William Fisher, Jr., age 77 of Rockwall, Texas, passed from this earth to be with our Lord and Savior at 3:55am Tuesday, January 21, 2025. He was a faithful member of Lakepointe Church in Rockwall since 1989. Upon retirement he became his grandchildren’s favorite playmate. He was an active member of Timothy Warren’s Sunday school class, taking time to visit and pray for the sick and elderly in their times of need. Survivors include his wife of 55 years Brenda Potter Fisher; daughter Dara Elizabeth Bearden and husband David Bearden; son James Zachary Fisher; grandsons Elijah Bearden and Oliver Bearden; granddaughter Liberty Fisher; sister Marilyn Earwood and husband Larry Earwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
