James Albert Ellingson

July 27, 1939 — August 28, 2011

Age 72 passed from this life on August 28, 2011 at his home in Wylie, Texas. He was born in San Francisco, California on July 27, 1939 to Albert and Dorothy Olsen Ellingson.

James was stationed in Germany from 1959 to 1963 where he served his country in the United States Air Force as a decoding operator in security service.

After earning a BA degree, Jim spent over 25 years in the banking industry as a Loan Manager at Bank America and a Vice President at Bank One.

James married Elizabeth Conrad Green on April 4, 1984 in Paducah, Kentucky. They have lived in the Plano and Wylie area for the past 20 years. Jim was a member of the Presbyterian Church and enjoyed golf, bridge and various sports.

Survivors include his wife Liz Ellingson of Wylie, sister Gloria Thomas of Willits, California and brother Donald Ellingson of Lincoln, California. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carol Christiansen.

At the request of the family no services will be held. Jim will be returned to the Pacific Ocean where he often enjoyed diving.
