James "Jimmy" Crawford, Jr., 51 years old, passed away peacefully at his home on October 22, 2013. Jimmy was the son of James Crawford, Sr. and Linda Crawford. He was born in McKinney, Texas on September 11, 1962.
Jimmy graduated from Garland High School in 1981, where he was nominated as Most Talented and also served on the yearbook staff. After high school, Jimmy received an Associates Degree from the Art Institute of Dallas.
Jimmy is most remembered for his incredible artistic talent and vision. He was inspired by his father and strived relentlessly to carry out the Crawford legacy, which he achieved with great honor and respect. His passion and creativity lead him to meet some wonderful poeple from all walks of life who became his lifelong friends. He has left his mark on the hearts and on the cars of people nationwide.
Jimmy had a gentle nature and openness that put all who met him at ease. He had a quick qit with an unmatched sense of humor and was rarely seen without his beautiful smile and twinkle in his eye. Those who spent any amount of time with him grew to love his contagious laugh and couldnt help but laugh with him.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Crawford, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Linda Crawford; his sister, Tammy Goodman and her husband, Steve; two nieces, Mallory Goodman and Addyson Goodman; his fiancee, Vicki Perchalla; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jimmy is also survived by his pin-striping "brothers of th brush" and hot rodders across the country.
