James Wesley Crabtree

James Wesley Crabtree, 67, died Tuesday, May 31 at his residence in Richardson, TX.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 3, at the Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home at 2925 Fifth St. in Sachse. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday. A second service will be in Andrews, TX on Saturday with burial in the Gaines County Cemetery in Seagraves, TX.

Crabtree was born Aug. 6, 1948 in Levelland, TX to Ross and Marie Crabtree. He graduated from Andrews Texas High School in 1966. He was elected president of his class every year he was in high school. He attended Odessa College followed by military service in the U.S. Army. His major employers in the Dallas area were Texas Instruments and UPS.

He is survived by a brother, Larry and wife, Judy of Denton. A niece, Lori of Carrollton and nephew, Ross of Lubbock. He was preceded in death by parents; father, Ross (1957), mother, Marie (2001) and sister, Donna (2008).
