James Floyd Brown

June 21, 1939 — March 14, 2020

James (Jim) Floyd Brown passed away on March 14th, 2020 at the age of 80. He was born June 21st, 1939 in Madison, Wisconsin to Della Kahl and Floyd Brown. He married Carol Brown, his soul mate on March 2nd, 1963, and they were married for 57 years.

Jim was the IT Director for Collin Street Bakery in Corsicana, TX for over 20 years. Jim's greatest passions included the following; listening to music, dancing, gardening, reading, watching documentaries, watching hours long marathons of tennis, taking weekly tours to Costco, watching his Dallas Mavericks, and playing his beloved racquetball. Jim's ultimate passion though was spending time with all his family and closest friends, as this brought him great joy. We will all be reminded of him being a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He routinely put others first and will be remembered for being a great provider and protector. He also will be remembered for being blunt and to the point, but that was his quick wit and trademark smile!

Jim will continually be with us, as his legacy will live through all of us to carry on for him. What a great legacy he left, as he left an enduring impression on all those who knew him best. Jim is survived by his wife Carol Brown, children Mike, Christine, Jennifer, Benjamin, and grandchildren Kory, Justin, Deshawn, Madison, Ethan, Brooklyn, Peyton, and great granddaughter Jasmine, and brother Steve.

Jim will be Always Loved, and Forever Missed, and Always in our Hearts.
We All feel Great Sorrow in Jim's passing, but know that we will meet again one, and today we All Celebrate his Life until we meet again.
