Jack served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was the owner of the Country Junction Restaurant in Sachse, Texas.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Paula Kilgore and her husband, Jim; two sons, Gary Duke and his wife, Karen and Greg Duke and his wife, Mary Beth; nine grandchildren; sister, Mary Lou Lusk; and three brothers, Gene Duke, Jerry Duke and Larry Duke.
Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 20, 2012 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2925 5th Street, Sachse, Texas 75048. Interment will follow in Sachse Cemetery, Sachse, Texas.
