Ines Gonzalez

Ines Gonzalez, age 89, went to be with our Heavenly Father on January 16, 2021 in Wylie, TX.

She was born on January 21, 1931 in La Playa de Ponce, Puerto Rico. Ines is preceded in death
by her loving husband Lino Vargas, her son Lino Vargas, Jr., her mother Elisa Acosta, and her
father Andres Gonzalez.

When Ines met Lino, for both, it was love at first sight. They were
married in New York on May 31, 1958. Ines and Lino were married for 50 years and were blessed
with five children.

Ines is survived by her daughters Edda Margarite Hagar, Elizabeth Jonas, Jo-Ann Cook, Marisol
Irizarry, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Ines's beautiful smile brightened the world. She was loved by her family and friends. Ines will
forever live in our hearts and will be truly missed.

Visitation will be held from 10 AM-12 PM followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at 12:15 PM
on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home 2925 Fifth St. Sachse,
TX 75048.

Burial will be at Sachse Cemetery, Sachse, TX.
