Ima Jean Wyatt passed away January 19, 2020, at Methodist Richardson Hospital. Jean was born in Brownwood, Texas on January 16, 1935, and was a graduate of Early High School.
She was also a long-time employee of Kraft Foods in Garland Texas, working there for 32 years until her retirement.
Jean was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her kindness and helping hand was received by all. She never stopped moving and her hard-working ethics extended to friends, family, and especially her church. She loved traveling and explored all over, including the covered bridges of New England to hunting for waterfalls in Arkansas. Her warm heartedness was felt by many, foremost by her family. Her precious heart will be missed by all.
Jean is survived by her husband C.M. Wyatt and her two sons, Tim and Ricky Wyatt and spouses. She was a grandmother to four grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Jean is also survived by a brother; Jearl James; and sister; Madelene Davis. Jean was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be at Charles Smith and Sons Funeral home in Sachse on Thursday, January 23, from 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be Friday, January 24, at 10:00 AM in the Charles Smith and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Sachse. There will be a graveside service afterwards. She will be laid to rest at Restland Cemetary on Greenville Ave. in Dallas.
