Hester E. (Hess) Blasingame of Dallas, Texas passed away Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Doctor's Hospital.
Hess was born in North Little Rock, Ark on December 8, 1925 to Norman E. and Marie Inzer Blasingame of Dallas,TX. Hess was self employed in Appliance Sales/ Repair Service,and previously as Manager of Keller's Drive-In on Samuels Blvd. Where he worked for over 20 years.
He proudly served his country as a United States Marine four years during World War II. attaining the rank of Tech. Sgt. Hess was preceeded in death by his parents and brother Norman E. Blasingame and Wife Frances of Pine Bluff, Ark.
He is survived by sisters Margie L. Bishop Fite of Dallas, TX and Joyce McClain and brother-in-law Clyde McClain of Sulphur Springs, TX, Nephews: John W. Bishop of Dallas, Bob Bishop and Wife Donna of Carollton, TX, S.C. Hunter and Wife Sheryl of China Springs, TX " Larry Blasingame of Houston, TX, Gary Blasingame and Wife Kathy of Heber Springs, Ark. and Nieces: Joy Gregory and husband Earl Gregory of Saltillo, TX, Linda Casey and Rev. Bill Casey, many great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews. Hess will be greatly missed by those of us remaining, but joyously welcomed in his heavenly home. A Memorial Service will be held at Eastgate Funeral Home Chapel Saturday August 27,2011 at 2:00 p.m. Services entrusted to Eastgate Funeral Home in Garland, Texas.
