Henrietta Richmond of Lavon, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020. Henrietta (Henri) was born on September 30, 1947, and grew up in Springfield, Illinois.where she graduated from Sacred Heart Academy. On June 6, 1970, Henrietta married William John Heusser and moved to Louisville, Kentucky. In January of 1972, they moved to Garland, Texas, where her husband worked for Texas Instruments.
For ten years, Henrietta worked for Blue Cross of Dallas. Fortis Benefits Insurance, Richardson, Texas, also employed her for 16 years.
Her parents, Henry Mansfield Richmond and Mary Bileck Richmond, also of Springfield, and her beloved husband, William, preceded her in death.
Henrietta is survived by: her daughter; Sue Lynn Roesler, of McKinney, Texas; her sister; Catherine Ann Stone, of Springfield, Illinois; and her two granddaughters; Ashley Nicole and Meghan Elizabeth Roesler, both of McKinney, Texas.
Henrietta enjoyed music, camping, traveling, genealogy, scrapbooking, sewing and crocheting. The Heussers traveled extensively to Brazil, Spain, Australia, Canada and Germany along with many camping trips throughout the states.
Henrietta loved God, family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Henrietta will be interred next to her husband at Camp Butler, Springfield, Illinois on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 10 a.m.
