Helen was born Helen Juanita Weaver on February 19, 1922 in Frankston, Tx. She was the daughter of William Milo Weaver & Ollie Henry. She was one of nine children, she grew up in Frankston and later in her childhood they moved to Quitman, TX. Shortly after graduating from High School she married her first husband Charles Morgan in 1941. She gave birth to their son Charles Earl in Dallas, Tx in 1943. Her husband Charles passed away later that year.
On June 25, 1944 she was remarried to William Theophilus Kennedy. They had four children William Merrill , Margaret Diane, Brenda Kay and Nancy Gail. She was widowed for a second time on June 26, 1972 when William Theophilus Kennedy passed away.
Helen spent most of her life as a house wife and mother. She did attended business school in Dallas as a young woman and worked as secretary and retired in 1972.
She is survived by her son Charles Earl Morgan of Gilmer, Tx, Daughters Margaret Diane Dubrul of Virginia Beach, Va, Brenda Kay Kennedy of Rockwall, Tx and Nancy Gail Page of Dallas, Tx. Her son William Merrill Kennedy preceded her in death in 1999, his ashes will be laid to rest with his mother.
She was blessed with six grandchildren and four great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her grandchildren Wendy Charlene Morgan, of Edinburgh, Scottland, Christopher Merrill Dubrul of Rockwall, Tx, Stephanie Danae Dubrul Wasson of Virginia Beach, Va, Lauren Kennedy of Rockwall, Tx, Kyle Theophilus Page of Dallas, Tx and Keith Aaron Page of Dallas, Tx. She is survived by her great grandchildren Brent Dubrul of Rowlett, Tx, Joshua Dubrul of Denton, Tx, Brandon Waddell of Virginia Beach, Va and Dylan Wasson of Virginia Beach, Va.
Helen lived a long and joy-filled life she enjoyed crocheting, cooking and watching her "shows". She enjoyed cooking so much that she was still frying chicken at 90 years old. Her families found memories will stay warm in their hearts and her crocheted blankets will keep them warm for many years to come. To our Mother and Granny we will miss you but we know we will see you again someday.
Helen will be laid to rest on Monday July 1st at 10:30am at Concord Cemetery in Hainsville, Tx along side her first husband Charles Morgan.
