Helen Ruth Hamilton, age 87, of Richardson, Texas (formerly of Moore, Oklahoma for 37 years), passed away January 12, 2014 in Plano, Texas. She was born July 7, 1926 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Bob and Ruby Powers.
Helen was preceded in death by her son in-law, David Evans; parents, Bob and Ruby Powers; sister, Bobby Jean Johnson; brother, Sonny Powers and her grandparents, Samuel and Anise Keith.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-seven years, James Doyle Hamilton; daughter, Sherry Green and her husband, Jeff; son, Ty Hamilton; sister, Dorothy Marshall; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
