Miss Hattie Belle Dumerauf, 93, of Richardson, Texas went home to be with the Lord at 8:10 AM Monday March 26, 2012 at Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held at Waterview Church of Christ, 1409 Waterview Drive in Richardson on Monday April 2, 2012 at 1:00 PM with a viewing preceding the service at 12:00 noon and visitation immediately following.
Graveside services 11:00 Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport, IA.
She was born July 22, 1918 in City Island, Davenport, Iowa to John Joseph and Mary Ellen (Stanley) Dumerauf. She resided in Davenport the greater part of her life until moving to Richardson, Texas in 2001 to be with family. She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 brothers.
Hattie attended school in Davenport and was employed at Davenshire Inc. for 26 years, Bradfords Manufacturing 8 years and Americana Nursing Home 7 years prior to her retirement. She was an active member of Waterview Church of Christ. She was a source of cheer and inspiration to many by sharing her poetry and love of the Lord with all she met. She will be greatly missed.
Although she never married, Hattie left behind many dearly loved Grand, Great Grand and Great Great Grand Nephews and Nieces.
