Harold Joseph Watt of Riverside CA, and recently of McKinney, Texas, passed into the Lords hands on December 6th, 2015 in Baylor Medical Center. H. J. Watt was born in March of 1928 in Olinda, Calif. For over 80 years he lived in Riverside, CA. There, at Poly High School, he met the love of his life and future wife Barbara Jones. He and Barbara were married for over 68 years. They shared a life time of dedication and devotion. Harold was a pioneer in the field of floral and horticultural marketing. He worked as garden division buyer for Sages Markets in the Inland Empire, and then later in the wholesale nursery field for both Sunnyside Nurseries of Hayward California, and Hines Wholesale Nurseries of Santa Ana. Harold loved gardening, walking and driving on long day trips . He was especially fond of the spending time in the San Bernardino mountains. He had a close attachment to lost and stray or abused pets, which he rescued regularly. Besides his wife Barbara, Harold is survived by his two sons, Kenneth Watt (Virginia) of Shawnee, Kansas, and David Watt (Kate) of McKinney, Texas. Grandchildren include Benjamin Watt (Darcy) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Sarah Watt House (Mark) of Huntersville, North Carolina. Additionally, his great grandson Finley Watt of Cincinnati, Ohio remain.
