Harold Leon Ellison, age 76, of Caddo Mills, Texas, passed away May 10, 2014 in Greenville, Texas. He was born July 30, 1937 in Delhi, Oklahoma to Dodson Bertsel and Ruth Ada Dial Ellison.
Harold enjoyed traveling with an RV through the U.S. and enjoyed sharing time with family and his grandchildren. He retired from USSA in 1996. Harold was well known in the Garland Youth Sports Programs, was a peewee basketball coach and was on the Board of Directors of North Garland Boys Little League Baseball.
He is survived by his wife, Jerry Ellison; two sons, Terry Ellison and his wife, Sandi and Kevin Ellison; two daughters, Rhonda Brown and her husband, Michael and Debbie Edwards and her husband, Ernie; eleven grandchildren, T.J. Ellison and his wife, Kelly, Brock Ellison, Reese Baez and his wife, Addy, Zach Baez, Joey Ellison, Lauren Potter, Amanda Brown, Kristin Brown, Austin Brown, Megan Edwards, Ryan Hisaw, Haliegh Carr and her husband, Andrew, and Aryn Edwards; three great-grandchildren, Aubrie Baez, Ian Baez and Zoey Edwards; brother, Larry Ellison; sister, Sue Ellison; and numerous other family members.
