Hal Jones

August 2, 1939 — December 20, 2018

Hal was born in Belton, Texas. He was a graduate of Texas A&M University in 1963 and earned his Masters as a Civil Engineer in 1970. He was married for 50 years to Pamela Jones. Hal was an avid Aggies fan, loving father and grandfather, and a world traveler. He was a member of the Texas Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers and American Society of Civil Engineers. Hal was a member of First United Methodist Church in Garland.

Hal is preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Hester Jones; siblings, Robert & Jackie Jones, Bill & Barbara Jones and Joyceann & Kenneth Builta.

Hal is survived by his wife, Pamela Jones; daughter and husband, Lisa & Jude David; daughter and husband, Cari and Mack Harvey; daughter and husband, Courtney & Paul Rust. His grandchildren; Brennan David, Stephen Gonzales, Andrew Gonzales, Wesley Rust, Karli David, Macailey Harvey, Brayden David, Avery Rust, Kinley Harvey, & Ashlyn Rust. Brother-in-law, Steve Andrews.

Private graveside ceremony was held on Saturday December 22, 2018 and a memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church Garland 801 West Avenue B, Garland Texas. The service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:30 AM.
