Grace Evelyn Garza

Grace Evelyn Garza went home to be with Jesus on November 15th, 2023, at age 21.

She was born to Mark and Crista Garza on January 5, 2002.  She was homeschooled for 12 years with her two siblings, Jeshua and Glory. Together they did Spanish Bible Quizzing and Grace was a National Champion.  When she aged out, she was initiated into the Spanish Bible Quizzing Hall of Fame.

As a family they evangelized from 2002 to 2008, and then together started a Bilingual Church in their home in 2009.  Grace was a Musician, Song-Writer, Bilingual Sunday School Teacher, Praise-Singer, Intercessor, Spanish Bible Quiz Coach, Speaker, Decorator, and Encourager of Many. Graces love of helping other's lead her to working in hospice care with families during their hardest times.

Grace was a friend to all, and enjoyed exercising at the gym, playing with the babies, and helping with the children. In 2019 she went on a Missions Trip to the Dominican Republic. There she helped in the prayer ministry, and in the building of a playground for the impoverished children. This mission trip birthed in her a desire to help children in foreign fields.

In 2020 she and her siblings recorded their first Music project together titled, “Blessed.” At her passing, Grace left many unrecorded songs behind which she had also planned to share someday.

She is survived by her 2 beautiful Grandmothers, Alejandra Garza & Merna Appleton. Also, by her 8 Aunts and Uncles, which she dearly loved, and at least 130 cousins that she always prayed for. There are no words to describe how much she will be missed, but we know we will see her again someday.
