Caring husband, friend and mentor to many, Gerry was always there and willing to help people. His strength and tolerance helped him to face life's many challenges and learn from them. His wisdom and enlightenment eased troubled minds and provided comfort and insight to friends and family alike. Although he missed his former home in New Orleans after living there for over 40 years, Texas became his new home with the help of all the friends he made here. They made him feel both welcome and loved. We were all enriched by knowing him and he will be greatly missed.
