Gerald Eugene Smith

Gerald Eugene Smith, age 85, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Tuesday June 1, 2021 at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He was born on February 28, 1936 to Ezra Smith and Ona Smith of Alabama where he lived before moving to Dallas.
Gerald served in the United States Army and later became a Master Mason. He was a pilot for TriCon Aviation and later retired from AT&T where he worked as a Technician engineer.
In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his siblings Gladys Monico, Rudolph Smith, Helen Alaniz, and Huey Smith.
He is survived by: his loving wife of 61 years, Helen Smith: daughters Pamela Fiveash and husband John Fiveash, Sheri Stewart and husband James Stewart, and Tina Rollins and husband Ray Rollins; grandchildren; Keyfer Fiveash, and Payton Fiveash and several nieces and nephews.
Gerald will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the ASPCA and the SPCA of Texas in remembrance of Gerald's love for animals.
A memorial service for Gerald Smith will be held at a later date.
