Georgia (mom) will be treasured in the hearts of all who knew her. She was a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother, inside and out.

Mom was married at sixteen and had seven children. She started her adult life on a farm in Tolar, Texas. After the dust-bowl in west Texas she moved several times and finally ended up in Westminster, Texas where her children were raised. It was during this time that she worked for Texas Instruments in Richardson, Texas.

She and Thurman Honeycutt were married for thirty-three years, living not only in Texas, but Michigan, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Allen, Texas before moving to their present home near Royse City, Texas where they have resided for over 15 years. Before and during her marriage to Thurman she owned several businesses – she loved being with people.

She loved to sing, singing on the radio with her sister as a teen. Her sons and grandchildren have followed in her steps. Her son Kent (Justin) and her granddaughter Kate will be honoring her in song during the funeral.
