George Allen Ward

September 6, 1929 — February 19, 2019

On September 06, 1929 into life came George Allen Ward. The son of Mr. & Mrs. George Ward of Farmersville, LA. At the age of 89 years, George left us peacefully in his sleep and was received by Jesus into his eternal life on February 19, 2019.

In Dec 2013, he was preceded in death by Bernice Ward, his wife of 52 years. George was a baptized believer of our Lord and Savior..........Jesus Christ.

For the past few years George enjoyed his home with his son Steve and wife Jill Vick. George is survived by his son, Wesley Ward, daughter Georgina Ward, step sons Albert James Vick, Harold Edward Vick, Larry Vick, Steven Vick, and step daughters Carol J. Stone, Kathleen M. Harrison and Brenda J. Emery and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

George served his country "HONORABLY" in the United States Marine Crops and the United States Air Force and was discharged Oct.06.1954.

Late in life, George's employment was as a Bondsman with Cowboy Bail Bonds. "Airman George Ward stand down, you are relieved of your post."

George Ward will be interned at 1400 hrs. (2:00 pm) at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Grand Parrie, TX on Thursday March 06, 2019
