George Eugene Neilon

George Eugene "Gene" Neilon, age 82, of Poetry, TX went home to
the Lord May 19, 2013.
Gene was born March 21, 1931, to George and Opal (Wood) Neilon in
Wylie, TX and graduated from Wylie High School. He retired from
Kraft Foods after a 40 year career, and spent the remainder of his life
enjoying his peaceful home in the country.
Gene was a very loving father, brother, grandad, and great-grandad.
He is remembered, with love, by his children, David Neilon, Nancy
Hutchins, Sherre' Sweet, Sheila Dahl, and Suzi Parrish; sister, Helen
McDowell; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and his loyal dog
"Sugar".
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 1 at Wylie
Cemetery. Arrangements made through Charles W. Smith & Sons
