George Hernandez, 74, a lifetime resident of McKinney, Texas, passed away September 2, 2012 in Plano, Texas. He was born March 11, 1938 in McKinney. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip Sr. and Gloria Hernandez; brother, Benny Hernandez; and a
sister, Mary Hernandez Martinez. George is survived by brothers, Tommy Hernandez and Phillip Hernandez, Jr.; sisters, Juanita Gonzales and Susie Hernandez and many nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be held from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home 601 S Tennessee Street McKinney 75069. The Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 7, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will take place immediately following at Pecan Grove Cemetery.
