George Samuel Donahue

George Samuel Donahue Sr., 61, of Dallas, TX. passed away April 25, 2018. He was born on October 7, 1956 in Auburn, NY to George and Edwena Grace (Patterson) Donahue. He served his country proudly until his retirement from the United States Marine Corps in 1996. George was well respected and loved by those around him in the Marine Corps. He epitomized the Marine Corps motto of Semper Fidelis in work and his personal life. He is survived by his wife; Sharon Lee Donahue, son; George Samuel Donahue Jr. (Beth), grandchildren; Emerson Grace and George Samuel III, brother; Mark Donahue (Jenetta), sisters; Eileen Ball (Kal), Rene Jordan, Sandra Donahue, and, mother; Edwena Day (Lester). He was preceded in death by his father; George Donahue and brother; Brian Donahue. Military Honors services to be held on May 7 that the DFW National Cemetery at 9:00 am.”
