Genaro Rios Lamela

On Monday, February 8, 2021 Heaven gained an angel. Genaro Rios Lamela, a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle, Brother and Son was born in Cuba on March 10, 1950. Genaro immigrated to the United States in 1980 in search of freedom for his family; where he found it making a life for his family and himself as a talented diesel technician. Everyone who met Genaro knew his passion for engineering, history and philosophy.

Services for Genaro will be done on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 11AM to 4PM at Charles W. Smith & Son Funeral Home located at 2925 5th Street, Sachse, TX 75098. Genaro will be missed by his family, but thanks be to God that he is no longer suffering and is walking the Streets of Gold in the presence of God.

Psalm 91

Lunes Febrero 8, 2021 el cielo ganado un ángel. Genaro Rios Lamela, un esposo, padre, abuelo, hermano y hijo amado. Nacido en cuba marzo 10, 1950 Genaro emigró a los Estado Unidos en búsqueda de libertad para su familia. donde logró libertad haciendo una vida para su familia y el como ingeniero mecánico. su pasión por la ingeniería, filosofía y la historia era bien conocida por su familia y amistades. Ahora Genaro esta caminando las calles de oro en la presencia de dios. Salmo 91

1 El que habita al abrigo del Altísimo se acoge a la sombra del Todopoderoso.

2 Yo le digo al Señor: Tú eres mi refugio, mi fortaleza, el Dios en quien confío. 3 Sólo él puede librarte de las trampas del cazador y de mortíferas plagas, 4 pues te cubrirá con sus plumas

y bajo sus alas hallarás refugio. ¡Su verdad será tu escudo y tu baluarte!

5 No temerás el terror de la noche, ni la flecha que vuela de día, 6 ni la peste que acecha en las sombras

ni la plaga que destruye a mediodía. 7 Podrán caer mil a tu izquierda, y diez mil a tu derecha,

estaré con él en momentos de angustia; lo libraré y lo llenaré de honores. 16 Lo colmaré con muchos años de vida y le haré gozar de mi salvación.

-According to the recommendations from the CDC, we will be limiting our services to 20 guests at a time with a minimum 6 foot radius for guests. Everyone must wear a mask or facial covering while inside the funeral home. We understand the inconvenience this may place on you and your family and friends.
