Gaynelle Stewart

Gaynelle Stewart, 82 of Lavon, TX, departed this world for her heavenly home on Monday, March 27, 2017 in Garland, TX with her sons by her side.

She was born in Buffalo, TX in 1934 to Jasper and Ruby Moore. Gaynelle had three brothers; Powell Moore and wife, Norma of Ft. Worth, TX, Larry Seal and wife, Jerrie of Princeton, TX, and George Seal of Alvin, TX. George preceded her in death. In 1951, Gaynelle married Clyde B. Stewart of Ft. Worth, and he preceded her in death in 1976. Together, they had three children; daughter, Vickie Lee Griffin, who preceded her mother in death; sons, Jack C. Stewart and wife, Renee of Sachse, TX, and Jimmy L. Stewart of Lavon, TX. She was blessed with two grandsons, three granddaughters, and nine great-grandchildren.

Gaynelle worked at Texas Instruments in Richardson and Sherman for many years and retired from M.E.M.C.

As a follower of Jesus Christ, she faithfully served Him as her Savior. She dearly loved her church family at North Place Church in Sachse.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in Sachse. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., at Charles W. Smith and Sons Chapel in Sachse. Interment will follow at Parker Cemetery in Buffalo, TX.
