Bill passed from this life in Princeton, Texas on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 78 years of age. He was born to Harvey R. and Anna Ruth LeFlore Snodgrass in Bennington, Oklahoma on May 31, 1933.

Bill served his country in the U. S. Army. He married JoAnn Ryder on April 15, 1961. They were blessed with two children. Bill owned an Insurance Agency in Bonham, Texas for 20 years. There he was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and served as President of the Bonham Rotary Club.Since leaving Bonham they lived in Plano for 15 years until Bill entered an assisted living in Princeton 4 years ago due to advanced Parkinson disease.

Bill leaves to treasure his memory, his wife of 50 years, JoAnn Snodgrass, his son Greg Snodgrass and wife Liz, his daughter Julie Conrad and husband Scott, four grandchildren Grant and Zak Snodgrass and Allie and Jack Conrad, sisters Mary Louise Neibarger, Joan Snodgrass Lane, Anna Lee Dillehay and Patsy Lou Johnson, brothers-in-law Gene Paul Lane, Charles Loyd Johnson and Frederick Dale Hamilton, nieces and nephews Lisa Ruth and Leslie Neal Hatfield, Lea Marie Neibarger, Boyd Andrew and Sheryl Ann Hamilton, Lichelle DeAnn and Brian Christopher Fuchs, Lori DeLee Dillehay and Cammie Lou Johnson, great nieces Alissa Marie and Aimee Ruth Hatfield and great nephews Connor Nathaniel, Chase Anthony and Cooper Matthew Hamilton.

Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents William Woodrow LeFlore, Daisy Smith LeFlore, George W. Snodgrass and Grace Snodgrass, parents Harvey and Anna Ruth Snodgrass, his sisters Ruth Lynell Snodgrass and Linda Sue Snodgrass Hamilton and his brothers-in-law Dennis Ray Dillehay and Jack Walter Neibarger.

Visitation will be 5:30 " 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Chapel, 601 S. Tennessee Street in McKinney, Texas, 972-562-7788.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Charles W. Smith & Sons McKinney Chapel with Reverend Michael McDermott of Covenant Crossroads Church officiating. Interment will follow in DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas.
