Chandler, Frederick Russell Jr. 77, of Richardson, TX, slipped the surly bonds of earth to meet his Maker in heaven Friday, February 25, 2022. He was born July 14, 1944 to the late Frederick Russell Chandler Sr. and Gay Heim Chandler. Fred was born in Harlingen, Texas, lived in Atlanta, Georgia, Royal Oak Michigan, and Dallas, Texas. He graduated from T. J. High School in 1962, attended the University of Arkansas where he received his bachelor degree in business. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon where he served as President. He met his wife Phyllis Tull and they were married in 1967. He then went on to receive his MBA also from the University of Arkansas. From 1968 to 1972 Fred severed as a pilot in the United States Air Force, earning the rank of Captain. After serving his country, he was employed by Merrill Lynch as a Stock Broker (aka Financial Advisor in today's terms) for 38 years. Fred enjoyed being with his family, reading, golf, fishing, hunting and the RAZORBACKS!!!! He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church and Woodcreek Church for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his mom, Gay, and father, Fred, his sister, Susie and brother in law Floyd, his Aunt Honey and grandparents. He is survived by his wife Phyllis, daughter Kelli, son Tripp, daughter in law Chantelle, grandchildren Bailey, Drew, Kennedy and Karis. Also he is survived by niece Michelle Sheridan, and nephew Rusty Mechler. Family and friends will be received at Woodcreek Church on Thursday, March 3 at 2:00 PM 3400 E. Renner Road, Richardson, TX 75082. The interment will be in Little Rock, AR. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Parkinsons.org in Fred's name.
