Fred W Roberts

Fred Wallace Roberts was born October 2nd,1936, in Pottsville, Arkansas to Clyde and Lois Kendrick Roberts. He was the youngest of eight children who grew up on Crow Mountain. He lost his father at the age of 3 and was raised by his mother who taught him to love the Lord and to love others.

Fred graduated from East Texas State University with a degree in accounting. He was a veteran of the Navy and eventually had great success in business. He married the love of his life, Doris, on October 13, 1962. He lived in Warren, Ohio for 20 years where he and his wife raised their two children.

Fred has been reunited with his wife of 58 years, Doris Rish Roberts, as well as six siblings. He is survived by his daughters, Gwen Ann McKenzie and Pamela Kay Braddy. He leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Hannah and Hunter Braddy, and Will McKenzie. He also leaves behind his brother Charles Roberts of Talco, Texas. He has many family members and friends who will miss him dearly. We are grateful for the hope that through Jesus Christ, we will be reunited with him one day. We are certain he has already found the best trout stream in heaven.

His funeral service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, at 11:00 am at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in McKinney, Texas.
