Frank Johnson

July 17, 1959 — September 14, 2013

Frank Johnson (Raider Frank), 54, of Princeton, TX passed away September 14, 2013. He was born to James and Junko Johnson on July 17, 1959 in Tokyo, Japan.
Frank spent his childhood in Duluth, MN. He graduated from Central High School with honors and was voted by his classmates as "Friendliest" in 1977. He decided to further his education at Missouri Institute of Technology, where he received his Bachelors degree in electrical engineering technology. Frank chose to go even further with his education and went to UCLA where he took extensive engineering and mathematical courses of study.
Throughout his corporate career (ARINC, Clear Communication, Nexterna, GoPubCo, New Horizons So Cal) Frank held several prominent positions within the companies.
Frank had a team-oriented work ethic, no matter what position he held, he treated every job as if he was the owner of the company. He gave 100% to ensure that his team and the company would succeed. He always said that "I succeed when the company succeeds." He was usually the first one there and the last one to leave. He really was the hardest working man on the job.
Not only did Frank work hard, he also loved to have a lot of fun. Frank was a great husband, father, and friend. He was very generous with his time. He loved to help in any way he could. Frank never allowed anyone to want or need for anything when he was around. He believed in being happy and making the ones around him happy. The family wishes to express appreciation for the many acts of kindness and expressions of love and caring shown during our time of grief and sorrow. Frank has meant so much to so many people throughout the years and will be so missed. We thank God for the 54 years that He has blessed us to have him and to love him.
Frank is survived by his wife of 15 years, Zetta Johnson, 2 sons Frank Johnson, Jr. and Dustin Black, 4 daughters, Lashauna Johnson, Chaunique Johnson, Marlene Johnson and Brianne Johnson, 1brother Shigeki, 1 niece Tomoko Kanda, and 2 nephews Koichi Kanda, and Yoshiyuki Kanda. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Junko Johnson, and sister, Noriko Kanda.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee St, McKinney, Texas 75069.
