Frank J. Eckert Jr. 69, lost his long battle with colon cancer on Friday, December 31, 2015. Frank was born in Rochester, New York and the proud owner of Eckert’s Protective Systems from 1971-1986. Frank built this company from the ground up one customer at a time. When he sold the company in 1986 he had dominated the competition and built a legacy. Tired of the harsh winters in Rochester, Frank and his family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 1986. After relocation, Frank opened Eckert’s Printing and ran it successfully for 8 years. Frank had a passion for Real Estate and became an Agent for John Hall and Associates from 1995, in 2000, he earned his Brokers License and started Eckert’s Realty and once again built an empire helping clients achieve the American dream. After a very successful career he retired in 2015 to concentrate on his battle with Cancer. He enjoyed photography, restoring and tuning classic cars and was a gun enthusiast. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Eckert, Son Frank J. Eckert III of McKinney Texas, Daughter Lori Lowry and nine grandchildren. Frank will be dearly missed he will be remembered as a loyal husband, hardworking father, smart businessman and terrific friend.
