Frances Jean Petsch

Frances Jean Petsch, born on June 21, 1927, in Oakwood, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024. She was 97 years old. Frances lived a life full of love, family, and tradition, leaving a lasting legacy for everyone who knew her.

Frances was the beloved mother of six children: John Petsch and wife Vicki, Randall Petsch and wife Linda, Greg Petsch and wife Bertha, Lisa Bailey and husband Doyle, and Myra Anderson and husband Dan. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Petsch; her son, Bill Petsch; and her grandson, Cooper Anderson.

Known to her family as "Grandma," Frances cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She is survived by her cherished grandchildren Nicki, Sissy, Dusty, Alex, Jennifer, Ashley, and Mac, as well as her great-grandchildren Aubrey, Audi, Trae, Hayes, and Cohen. Frances’s love for her family was ever-present, and her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the delicious smells of her cooking.

An exceptional cook, Frances was renowned for her fried chicken, pies, and cakes, which she lovingly made to celebrate each family member’s birthday. She loved nothing more than gathering her family around the table, where stories were shared, laughter echoed, and memories were made.

Frances Jean Petsch leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion. Her family and friends will carry her spirit in their hearts forever, remembering her warmth, generosity, and the countless meals she prepared with love. She will be deeply missed.
