Fernando A. Mejia

Fernando A. Mejia, age 64 of The Colony, Texas, passed away on December 9, 2021 in Frisco, Texas. He was born on July 1, 1957 in Colombia to Reynaldo Mejia and Martha Gonzalez.

Fernando worked for over 25 years as a chef and construction worker. On November 18, 1978 he married Maria Eugenia Cano in Colombia. His true passion was cooking and his other love- Nacional Soccer Team.

Fernando is survived by his wife, Eugenia; daughter, Eliana Roseberry and her husband, Gary; son, Andres Mejia Cano and his wife, Dara; daughter, Lizette Hillegeer and her husband, Jake; grandchildren, Gary Alejandro, Brandon, and Jeslyn; and a host of other relatives who will miss him dearly.
Fernando is preceded in death by his parents, Reynaldo and Martha; sisters, Amparo, Fabiola, and Marina; and his brother, Reynaldo.

Fernando's ashes will be taken to Colombia for his final resting place.
