Faye Heifner Dobbs

Faye Heifner Dobbs was born on Easter Sunday- April 17, 1927 in Lucas, TX. to Martin and Nona Tomberlin Heifner. She married Gene Dobbs from Marshall, TX. on November 3, 1947. He passed away June 16, 2003 after 56 years of marriage. She died on Tuesday September 30, 2014 at the age of 87. She is survived by son Joe Jack Dobbs and wife Denise of McKinney, 2 Grandsons; Chase Eugene Dobbs and Blake Ryan Dobbs of McKinney, Roy Dean Dobbs and wife Tamra of Allen, TX., 2 Grandsons, Christopher Andrew Dobbs and Jacob Dobbs of Allen, TX. All whom called her Grand Faye and daughter Joy Jean Dobbs of McKinney. Lots of cousins on both sides of family. She worked before marriage at Collin County National Bank- McKinney. She started Holiday Inn in McKinney. She graduated in 1943 in McKinney, she was on the school board in McKinney, on Cemetery board at Forest Grove and Lovejoy - Member of Beta Sigma Phi and received her 50 year pin. Arrangements are with Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in McKinney. She was a member of Community North Baptist Church, officiating the service will be Dr. Bruce Austin. Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery besides her husband. The family will receive family and friends during a visitation on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home of McKinney.
