Eva Seabolt Jones

Eva Amanda Seabolt Jones was born on August 19, 1942 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Thursday, February 13, 2020 in McKinney, Tx. She was 77 years old.
She was born to Elbert and Louin (Barnes) Seabolt. She grew up in Ramona, Oklahoma and had 11 siblings. She graduated from Ramona High School. She married David Scott Smothermon on July 8, 1960. They had 4 children. They resided most of their married life in Amarillo, Tx. She worked for the City of Amarillo as a PBX operator for several years. She then married Frank Denzil Jones on March 13, 1977. They had 1 child. A few years later, the family moved to Princeton, Tx. She worked at McKinney Job Corps Center for more than a decade. She then went to work at Fujitsu for around 15 years until she retired in October 2010.
Eva's passion in life was living for Christ. She was known as a mighty Prayer Warrior. She loved sharing her testimonies about Jesus with others. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She kept them entertained with her sense of humor. Her hobbies were playing games (Yahtzee) and listening to Gospel music (especially the Gaithers). She will be greatly missed.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son (David Wryte) and siblings (Frances, Jetta Jean, Elberta, Jo and Mae).
Eva is survived by her son, Rocky Smothermon from Hawkins, Tx; daughter, Fonda Gomez and husband, Joe from Blue Ridge, Tx; daughter, Misty Smothermon from Sherman, Tx; daughter, Michelle Jones from Princeton, Tx; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; siblings- Lucille, William, Lillian, Threasa, Joy and Marvin; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
