Etta "Bly" BlytheEtta Stroud "Bly" Blythe, 94, passed away December 10th, 2015 in Denison Texas. She was born January 10th, 1921 to James Selby Stroud and Martha Barnes Stroud in Orangeville,Texas.She married the love of her life CB Bly June 5, 1937. They were married 53 years.She is survived by her grandchildren Joyce Shrum of Denison Texas, Tony Blythe of Denison Texas, Ronnie Blythe of McKinney Texas, Chris Blythe of Denison Texas, and Teresa Wagoner of Sherman Texas. She is also survived by one sister Wanda Hagan of Denison Texas, eight great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, and 1 great great great grandchild.She was a member of Dunn Memorial Baptist Church.She worked for Denison Cotton Mill, McKinney Cotton Mill, and Luminator of Plano.She enjoyed working puzzles, gardening, cooking and visiting with her family and friends. Everyone that she knew called her "Granny."She was preceded in death by her husband CB Bly, Sons James Stroud and Reggie Dwain and Grandson Donnie Blythe, brothers Verdell and Kenneth, Sisters Pauline, Elizabeth and Lillian.Family Night Visitation will be Tuesday December 15, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm at Charles Smith and Sons Funeral Home in McKinney Texas. Burial will be at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Lowry Crossing on Wednesday December 16, 2015 at 2pm with Don Clark officiating.
