Esther Lietemeyer Smith, born September 2, 1928, passed away on September 1, 2010 after a short illness. She was a most beloved wife, mother and grandmother who spent her life caring and sacrificing for her family. Esther graduated from Highland Park High School in 1945 and graduated from SMU in 1949. She married David Smith in 1951.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Winnie Lietemeyer, and by her husband. She is survived by her sister and husband, Frances and Jack Newby; by her sons and their wives: David Smith and Peggy Murphy, Paul and Mary Smith; and by her grandchildren: Maggie and Georgia Smith.
Graveside service will be at 10 am on September 8, 2010 at Restland Memorial Park, 9220 Restland Road in Dallas, Texas.
