Elizabeth Francina James

Elizabeth "Dutsie" James, 77, passed away on July 29, 2012 in McKinney, Texas surrounded by her family and friends. Elizabeth is survived by her five children, June McCullough of McKinney, Willie James (Janice) of Van Alstyne, Elizabeth Treadway (Larry "Buck") of Princeton, Frances Evans (Gene) of Princeton, Rita Romine-Trout (Edwin) of McKinney, 21 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Francis Price (Dee) of Celina, Texas, and Dorothy Milion of Ohio. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. James, her parents R.L. and Edna Newby, and sister Lucille Talley of Princeton. Elizabeth was loved by many family and friends and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at a visitation to be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in McKinney, Texas. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Pecan Grove Cemetery.
