Elizabeth Adella Frerichs

Elizabeth Adella "Betty" Frerichs was born in Houston, Texas October 30th, 1927 to T. W. and Selena Ryals. She passed from this life on Friday, March 25th surrounded by her children.

Betty had been a very active member of Casa View Christian Church in Dallas, Texas working with the various youth groups there as well as the CWF. Betty received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Journalism for Sam Houston State University as well as a Masters Degree in Industrial Arts from North Texas State University. She taught drafting in the Dallas Independent School District, and also worked as a structural engineer for Morgan Buildings for over a decade.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, a brother T. W. Ryals and her husband of 56 years, Edwin Frerichs. She is survived by one daughter, Lori Maucieri and husband Rick Maucieri of Plano, Texas, one son, Derek Frerichs and wife Kelli Frerichs of Marietta, Texas, seven grandchildren, Nic, Cecily, and Belle Maucieri of Plano, Kayla, Nathan, William and Joshua Frerichs of Marietta, and a host of friends and extended family from Casa View Christian Church of Dallas, Texas.

Because she so loved the youth, the family requests that in lieu of flowers that financial gifts be made to Casa View Christian Church, Dallas, Texas for the youth funds.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 27, 2011, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Eastgate Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, March 28, 2011, 11:00 am at Casa View Christian Church, 2230 Barnes Bridges Rd., Dallas, Texas.
