Edward Theodore Havermann

Edward, age 81, died on February 10, 2016. He was resident of McKinney. Ed was born on August 4, 1934 in St. Louis, MO. He grew up in Belleville, IL but spent most of his adult life in the Chicago area, where he was an Operations Manager for Sears Roebuck and Co. for 35 years. Upon retirement, he and his wife of 60 years, Sally, moved to Somerset, Kentucky. For 11 years, they enjoyed a life of boating and golf. Following a diagnosis of Alzheimers, they relocated to be closer to family in McKinney, Texas. Ed was raised Catholic and found great peace in his faith. He loved his St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Bears. Besides his devoted wife, he greatly loved his children, Lisa (John) Tokarz and Edward III (Ann), and his grandchildren Taylor and Jack Tokarz and Payton and Connor Havermann. His kindness, character, and sweet sense of humor will be greatly missed. Family requests donations to the Alzheimers Association.

Services will be held at St. Jude, Allen at 9:00 am Saturday, February 13.
